Day 170

Friday, June 19, 2015

Wow. I can't believe we are this far into the year... and I've made no progress. Okay, I can believe it, I've had a lot happen. But the next half of the year I expect some changes! Changes I intend to make over the next half a year:
emoticon Work out, at least 10 minutes, 6 times a week. Not going to expect myself to do the three workouts a day like I was wanting, just 10 minutes. Can be as simple as walking around the house for 10 minutes!
emoticon Eat breakfast (shake). Right now I'm still having just coffee for breakfast and that is not good, I'm supposed to have food with my meds. I know it means I'll have to trim calories from lunch and dinner, but breakfast is important.
emoticon Start getting up on time again! 0545, so I have time before the kids wake up to read, spend some time with God... my morning routine.
emoticon Stop eating out, start meal planning. We spend so much extra on eating out... we need to be saving that money for when DH isn't making so much, when he becomes a pastor. Or a number of other things! No more eating out! Stop eating such expensive foods!
emoticon Stop sleeping so much. I go to bed early and get up late. I know this has to be part of the reason I'm not getting good sleep. I need to be using my body pillow to sleep on my side so I sleep better too.
emoticon Declutter 15 minutes a day! I have to start getting rid of all this clutter! I can't walk in my closet but maybe 2 feet, it's a mess!

emoticon So those are some of the main things I want to change/start doing. Starting on the 21st of this month, I will! 60 Day Summer Challenge, here I come! I know I can't expect to make all those changes at once, but I'm going to try to do at least some of it, so that I can get back into a routine and start losing weight! I know that once I start eating better and losing weight, some of my health problems (like pre-diabetes) will go away.

I got my a gel manicure yesterday. I'm not doing gels again, I think. Taking them off is kinda painful. Though I do love that they stay pretty for so long. I don't like to paint my nails because they tend to only last a few days. Hmmm....

emoticon I got all of my Juice Plus in finally! I was beginning to think they had forgotten my shake powder! I got an extra order of the gummies... I had ordered an extra last time but didn't intend to this time. But that is okay, we'll end up using them. I got all chocolate shakes like I asked for, yay! I gave the vanilla from my last order to my friend who likes them but can't afford them.

VBS has been great, but the kids have come home a mess and in need of showers every night, so they aren't getting to bed till 9:30-10 at night! Taking it's toll on my youngest, she gets up early, but my oldest is still asleep!

The life of a pastor's wife can be overwhelming, but a blessing too! So many people expect so much more from you.

Your plan sounds good, small changes are better than no change. I am losing extremely slow, but I am losing.

Organizing is good too! It makes you feel so much better to have things in their places!

Sounds like you need to organize a little. Start slow. Good luck!
