Day 171/ 60 Day Summer Challenge

Saturday, June 20, 2015

I'm really excited about this year's 60 Day Summer Challenge!! I'm going to use it to start getting my morning routine in place and to get myself motivated to make the changes I need to make.
Starting on Father's Day will be hard, we'll be grilling out and having ribs, and there will be desserts and fatty foods. I'm going to resist though! I'll have a proper portion size and I'll not eat dessert. Honestly though, my shakes are chocolate and I have them with strawberries, so I should not have major sweet cravings!
Here are my goals and rewards:

I'm going to *try* to have two shakes at day and then one meal. I get nauseated so much it shouldn't be a big deal to do. I know that I'll be doing the one shake for breakfast long term, but the 2nd shake will be so that I can eat something and not get nauseated, so that I'll actually be able to get some form of food in me.
*Wake on time (0545) dressed to shoes
*Morning Devotional and Bible reading every day
*Work Out every day for at least 10 minutes (preferably longer)
*Eat breakfast (shake)
*Take meds and vitamins
*15 minutes of de-cluttering a day
*64 oz of water a day
*sleep 7-9 hours per night (no more!)

emoticon Weekly Goals: emoticon
I'm not going to make a major push for weight loss at this point, but for changing my habits, as my habits change for the better, the weight will come off.
*lose 1 pound
*One sweet per week only
*Strength Train 3x per week

emoticon Challenge Goals (things I want to do during the entire challenge): emoticon
I don't drink much soda, so that won't be huge, but we do eat out... a lot. I'm hoping to cut that out altogether if I can and DH is on board.
*No Soda's
*Eating out only 1x per month only

emoticon Computer Time Challenge: emoticon
I spend way too much time sitting at the computer doing nothing. I want to be up and doing more, not sitting on my bum all day staring at a computer screen. I want to engage my kids more, be more active, figure out what it was I did before I became so engrossed in the computer.
*May get on the computer in the mornings and after workout to do SP and update challenges
*No computer throughout the day except to look things up for the kids and for music
*May get on the computer after dinner for a few minutes to update SP and check mail
*NO computer surfing during the day, computer is to stay closed unless using it for the kids or for music

emoticon Rewards: (For a whole week goals met) Pick one: emoticon
*mani/pedi with gel nail (every two weeks)
*new water bottle
*new pants and shirt
*New exercise clothes
*new shoes
*new fun socks
*new glasses
*new dresser

emoticon Computer Rewards by week: emoticon
*Week 1: New coffe cup
*Week 2: New crochet pattern
*Week 3: New Bible or Devotional
*Week 4: New pen/marker set
*Week 5: New coloring book (grown up)
*Week 6: New board game (game of LIfe)
*Week 7: New pillow
*Week 8: New fluffy towels

And that about sums it up. I'm expecting a lot from myself and I don't want to let myself down. Each week I'm going to print off my list of daily goals and reward for that week and put it in a sheet protector with a dry erase marker next to it. I'll mark things off as I go through my day and have it there as a constant reminder not to sit and while my day away but to get up and seize the day!

Those are great goals! I hope they aren't too much for you. If they are, cut back and slow down a little, better a small goal than no goal! You are doing this and you are excited to continue Way to go!
