Mixed bag of choices

Monday, June 22, 2015

Thank you so much for your advice on my previous blog, I will go searching for some of the products mentioned tomorrow. Y'all are awesome!

Today, I felt like I was pulling from a mixed bag of choices. I made decent choices for breakfast and lunch. Then I made a great choice in the afternoon.

I had to housesit for a couple of hours because we were expecting a package that had to be signed for. So I turned the TV on, and I got up during the commercials to climb the stairs. Then I started to feel like I wouldn't be able to walk, much less do my couch to 5k run tomorrow. So I started walking in place in front of the TV. So I walked through one and a half programs. I felt good!

And then I had the icecream. I only had a little bit, but it was the kind of sugar sweet that leaves you craving more. So when I went to the bookstore (where I spent way too much money), I passed the doughnut shop... and the hot light was on. Dangit. I caved. And then I got back to the grandparents' place, and the snickers were out... and I caved again. Double Dangit.

So I decided that I would move on to tomorrow to make better choices. My alarm clock is set for 6am, when it won't be so hot. My clothes and water bottle are set out. I am ready to get an early start tomorrow by making good choices. And I will be staying away from that icecream.

Thanks for listening!
Jules
