Home Again and it feels so good!

We arrived home just minutes before midnight last night after driving (well, for me it was riding) 17 hours. We had good driving weather, a little hot but my husband finally broke down and turned on the air conditioner. We just missed a hail storm in South Dakota but did run into some heavy rain an hour from home. We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation. We stayed at Wunder Ranch in Lander, Wyoming and our hostess was the most wonderful 81 year old woman I have ever met! She starts her day at 6 a.m. and is still going strong at 8 p.m. - with the greatest attitude. She was truly an inspiration and has helped me renew my focus on loosing weight and getting healthier!
I even lost a pound while we were gone - funny, when you're happy and busy you don't seem to need a snack in the afternoon. I hope to take some of that with me going forward.
So now we're home and gradually unpacking. Even Daisy was thrilled when she got out of the car for maybe the 8th time that day and found she was in her own garage. When she went in the house she started searching for her friend Sheba (the cat) and wouldn't stop looking until we found her. Daisy is resting today too, apparently it's just as hard to sleep in the back seat for 17 hours as it is to ride up front!
I have such a renewed appreciation for home and am looking forward to getting back on track with my spark goals!
