Day 182/ gallbladder

Wednesday, July 01, 2015

emoticon Well, doc says the gallbladder has to come out. The nurse lied when she said I had "a gallstone" according to the surgeon I have "a whole lot" of gallstones. Enough that he's worried it'll get infected so it needs to come out asap. The soonest they could get me in though, was next Wednesday, one week from now. I asked for pain meds for if I have another 'attack' but was told no, if it gets that bad I need to go to the ER. Meaning it could mean that it is infected or ruptured. Oh boy.

emoticon So I'm going to work out like crazy for the next week because I won't be able to work out for two weeks after the surgery. Can't work out this morning, I woke up too late and have to leave soon. But will work out this afternoon. I'm so bummed that this has to be in the middle of the 60 Day Summer Challenge! But that will give me a chance to work on what I eat, I suppose.

emoticon Therapy today. I have to remember to cancel next weeks appointment. I'm debating getting my usual coffee from Starbucks or not... I'm going out to eat with Aunt G afterwards, though part of me just really wants to come home.

I had my gallbladder out earlier this year! Oh those attacks are thee worst! At the end before they removed it I was down to soda crackers and water because everything set off an attack! Best of luck to you! I know you will feel so much better once that thing is out! emoticon
