I still need to take measurements. I uploaded my new weight loss into SP and saw what my last logged weight was. It was 158 something.. A far cry from where I am now. But.. I took a deep breath. Sucked it up.. and plugged in the new numbers.

Next step is my least favorite..

Taking honest pictures of my starting point. Not fun but necessary. There is a part of me that wants to be able just to use my pictures from last time at this weight, but it's not the same. My body is slightly different.. and this is a different journey all together.

When I began this journey originally, I had never been fit. Then I had gone from fit to fat.. and now this is the journey back.

Going to see if I can get the courage to do it today.

    Taking before pictures is a really important step in your journey. It's a way of saying "I want to remember looking like this, so I never look like that again." When I first started SP, I took some before photos, and for the next few months after took new pictures in the same poses. I posted them in blogs side by side so that I could share with the world how I was doing. It was hugely motivating and helped me stay on track. I reached my goal of 36 pounds lost the end of April, and have lost an additional 4.6 pounds since. Having those pictures is a reminder of where I came from, where I'm going, and the place I don't ever want to go back to.

    i just looked at all your pictures. Amazing transformation. I am sorry you got in that horrible accident and put the weight back on. If you did it once you can do it again. I have never weighed over 185 but I can see it could easily happen.
