Day 202

Tuesday, July 21, 2015

emoticon It's official! emoticon As of yesterday we are officially homeschooling for the year! emoticon I know, I know, why get so excited, this is year 3 of homeschooling. Well, my anxiety is bad when it comes to paperwork and such, don't know why, but it makes it hard to get official documents done. So this year when I went in search of what I needed to do for this year, I just went ahead and did it! Yay!

emoticon Our water went out yesterday!! DH forgot to pay the bill, so we went most of the day without water! Fortunately the girls and I each keep water at our tables or in the fridge and I have my water filter pitcher full of water, plus the pool in the back yard in case I needed water for flushing the toilet. You don't realize how much you need/use water till it is gone. Or how many times you wash your hands in a day. Thank you God for clean running water!

emoticon So I didn't work out yesterday because of the no water thing. I didn't want to get all sweaty and thirsty and then have barely any water to drink and no way of taking a shower. I'll try to work out today though, no excuses! Just 10 minutes!

emoticon I didn't eat so well yesterday either. I don't know what I was thinking. I didn't use my snack bars, I didn't do any of the tricks I've learned to stop cravings. I ate. Today I will get out my snacks ahead of time and I will do my nutrition counter and keep it up on the computer to remind me of what I'm allowed to eat today. If I'm going to not gain weight this week, I have to not overeat. I want to keep off the weight I've lost and lose at least one pound, this is my goal!

emoticon I'm doing a homeschool binder/planner/organizer this year!! I tried to do one last year, and failed, I only remembered to do it every now and then. This year I want to do it every day, I want it to be part of my daily routine! I'm getting most of the stuff the stuff recommended from the website where I get the pages for free; cute binder clips with smiley faces, washi tape, metallic pens.... the works. And DH let me order it! I shouldn't say 'let' that sounds like I asked permission... what I mean is that we always check with each other before we buy stuff on Amazon to make sure we don't go over budget.

emoticon Speaking of, today my new pampering stuff is coming in the mail! New gel socks and foot lotion (my feet decided to become dry and yucky looking when I turned 30, never had a problem before then, now that I'm 35 it is worse!). And stuff for washing and scrubbing my face. Oh I used to take long showers and wash and scrub my face and have a scrub for my feet and all kinds of stuff. I took a minimum of a 10-15 minute shower. Now I'm the queen of the 3 minute shower. Get in- get clean - get out. No muss, no fuss. But I do miss how I used to take care of myself more, so I'm going to start doing it again!

emoticon I'm on a 90's music kick, lol!

Today I'm going to:

emoticon Declutter in my room for at least 15 minutes
emoticon DH's laundry
emoticon Devotional
emoticon Work out for 10 minutes
emoticon Stick to food plan
emoticon Vacuum stairs and Living room
emoticon Relax for a while
emoticon Make a some bread!
