All Kinds Of Constructive Activity Today!

I started off my morning by enjoying one of Chef Meg's blueberry flax muffins along with some cooked egg whites. As I did my chores and sipped my chai latte, I realized that I wasn't hungry again until 2:30pm! I got a lot of satisfaction and felt full throughout all of my various activities. I tidied up areas of the house that were messy, threw in a load of laundry, vacuumed and mopped all of the floors in the house, showered, dressed and then went grocery shopping. When I got home, hubby helped me put away all of the packages. I took a few moments to relax and eat a light meal and drank lots of water. Then I made dinner. While dinner simmered, I read the paper and used my iPad, as I rested my legs.
Whew! What a busy day! Dinner was delicious, if I do say so myself. I sautéed boneless, skinless chicken breast with wine, garlic, onion, mushrooms and bell peppers and some spices. Then I added some no salt added cream of mushroom soup and fresh ground black pepper. I put it on to simmer on low for about an hour and a half. The chicken was fall apart tender. We served it over brown and wild rice. Yum! After dinner, I washed the pan and wiped down the stove and counters. Hubby and I took the pups for a short walk - kind of between rain storms. It was lovely outside - cool and breezy.
The house smells much cleaner. I noticed right away when we came in from our walk. Tomorrow, I will dust, change the sheets on the bed, do laundry and bathe the dogs. I will most likely wipe down the counters in the kitchen and bathrooms too. This time I will use a disinfectant. I think I will use white vinegar and water.
I have been concentrating my efforts on building up stamina by doing walking and regular daily activity. In another week or two, I will try a brief session in the pool. I will rest and use ice after I get home.
