Still Wearing the Boot!

Well I went to my Drs. appointment today. He removed the stitches and put me back in the boot. One good thing is I can take the bandage and boot off to take a shower. Yeah!! On Sat. I will be able to go swimming ( actually I can tread water). I still need to be very careful for 4 more weeks. I go see my Dr. on the 18th of August. Well this is where I'm at.

    Sounds like you are healing up well and swimming is a great way to burn calories while not as mobile as you'd like. I hope it continues to heal for you and don't push yourself to hard, slow and steady works best. I would have loved to pick up and jump again once the air cast was off but I still can't yet, it's a slow process to get the strength back but you can do it. Just be patient and listen to what your body says.
