The Military Diet...

So, I started the military diet this morning with my BFF!
I know it's probably considered a 'fad' diet, and certainly not long term or conducive to normal eating...but I need to do something to jumpstart myself so I do go back to my healthy eating, I have been off track too long.
I need the structure, the discipline to start off with so I hope this does the trick! They say it's a good one to lose quickly on for an event and I have my beautiful daughter's wedding coming up next month so would love to get a few off by then.
Now, I don't expect to lose 25 pounds in 3 days,
or the 10 they claim... but I would hope to lose a couple this first 3 days and then maybe a couple more by weeks end.
I would be curious if anyone has tried this 'diet' and I hate to use that word, I know I need to make a lifestyle change for long term success but....did you have success, how long did you try it? Please be nice if you disagree with this plan of mine...
