Challenges

Sunday, October 11, 2015

I started this blog last week and was almost done when I suddenly lost the screen. Oof. So... here we go again. emoticon

This week (actually last week) I started two challenges. Nope... I take that back, I started THREE. Insane right? So, much for taking things easy. haha Actually, I think you'll see their not too bad.

FIRST CHALLENGE..
Is between myself & DH. I both got off the healthy bandwagon lately and so we gave ourselves two weeks of eating "on plan" before we have a cheat day. I did really well, my first week until Saturday. On Saturday I did a long run and "treated" myself afterwards. It's a habit I really need to break.

SECOND CHALLENGE:
is here on sparkpeople. It's another two week challenge focusing on getting my water intake up where it should be. I've done VERY well with this challenge.. up until today. LOL oye. I guess it's a bad weekend. Tomorrow is another day!

THIRD CHALLENGE:
is actually from a sparkfriend, but the challenge is on facebook. It's the Baker's Dozen Challenge and the focus is based on the fact that there are 13 (now 12) weeks in 2015. The goal is to lose 13 or 26 pounds by the end of the year. 1 - 2 lbs a week. I'm generally not very good at weight specific goals, it's too much pressure, but I figure if I keep "renewing" my first challenge with an occasional "cheat" day, I can certainly lose 13 lbs by the beginning of 2016.

More to write about, but I'll leave that for another blog in a day or few. emoticon

You're right. You can do these. Try writing about them more frequently. It will make you more accountable.
