Went to Vegas September 2010 and I couldnt keep up walking on the stripe which is really SAD... When I got back I wanted to change this so I am not dragging everyone down with me trying to find places to sit. Well doing much better this time around in Vegas November 2013. I was able to catch up with everyone and I got to see much more of the stripe. The only thing is my blood clot leg swelled up alot. Since I came back I been walking a hour everyday... so I think I am ready for more adventure in walking.

Worked with Dietcian for awhile in 2013 until I started working in April 2013....I lost about 60lbs with her. Now I am off work again time to get back in the swing of things...for I gained some weight back.

Aug 19, 2014... Well now I am pre-diabetic not good at all... My Dad is diabetic, my niece and both her parents... I really dont want to become diabetic. So if weight loss will help I better get busy...

Starting a weight management clinic that my NP has recommended be too... So far they have done a complete blood work on me and ecg... and this is when I found out I am pre diabetic... Plus I have partial heart blockage, blood clotting disorder (two passed blood clots) and gout. I am only 46 and I have a 25 year old son and I really want to be around to see future grandchildren.

My start weight starting the weight management program is 344lbs and I already down 4lbs and this is just eating roasted tomato and veggie soup...

So will see what my results will be after I start theirs.... seeing dietician this Friday.....

    Gout is no fun...Apples, cherries and strawberries are beneficial in treating gout...too many food with purines cause gout and also avoid red meat. Those foods with purines include organ meats, gravy, anchovies, yeast, beans, sardines, cauliflower, herring and other fish and seafood. Moderate amounts of purines can be found in mushrooms, lentils, kidney beans and asparagus and spinach.

    Stay hydrated as dehydration is a major risk factor for gout attacks and it will also help remove the excess uric acid from your body and assist in reducing inflammation.
