I keep this bowl full and by me throughout the day so that when I feel munchy, I have something to munch and I don't have to think about it. The only thing it is missing the the baby cucumbers. Love those. I have to put them out later or I'll eat them all at once!

Yesterday I got Hungry. I was eating from my veggie bowl, drinking lots of water, but still felt really hungry. My friend says that it is because I'm still taking in sugar and that I'll be hungry till I get rid of all sugar. My husband says I'm taking in stuff that my body has to work to breakdown and I need something like a sugar (apple or pear for example) that my body can break down and use. I'm confused. I need to research that but not sure where to look for answers.

I get tired after I eat lunch. This has been so for the last I can't remember how long. I usually just lay down for 30 minutes and then I'm okay, but I'm trying to get rid of that down time. Yesterday I did. I ate really good all morning and had a very healthy, balanced lunch, went to go lay down and realized I didn't need to. I was good. In fact I had energy! Till 2:30 PM. Then I crashed. DH says I need to have a carb snack of some kind (like an apple or something more easily broken down than a carrot) before that crash so that I'll have the energy I need to make it through the rest of the day. I'm hopeful. No more down time!

Just got done working out, had to cut it short at 45 minutes because my DD was playing with the dog and knocked my water all over the floor, me and the Wiifit board. Hoping the board is not damaged, letting it dry. I was really hoping to get 60 minutes today, but o-well.

Making eggs, sausage and biscuits for everybody but me this morning. I'm so tempted to eat a sausage and biscuit. But I know the pork is not good for me, so I will stick to my veggies and my shake. This is really hard though. That is soooo tempting. But I started making DH lunches for work so that he won't eat out. He puts his order in with me the night before so I can make it fresh in the morning. He found out I was making eggs for the girls for breakfast and asked for breakfast to go too. I'm tired of the girls eating the super sugary cereals that DH buys. I want them to eat healthy too.

Don't remember if I mentioned this or not, but don't mix Juice Plus+ shakes with cow milk (I was out of almond milk). It turns into this gooey gel that is disgusting. I use an almond/coconut blend and it does great. My breakfast is usually chocolate shake mix, almond/coconut milk, 1/2 a frozen banana and 6 frozen strawberries. YUM! I was sharing it with the girls but discovered that then I don't get enough breakfast (it's a snack for them) and I end up hungry.

    I am just curious. How many hours a day do you honestly think about food and exercising? I hope it isn't a lot. Because there is so much more to life than thinking about what you are going to eat and how long you are going to move. Get the picture?
