The past couple of weeks have been a real struggle for me in terms of waning motivation, added stress, excessive eating, etc. I could feel it coming on, and did what I could to stave off of the problems and maintain my resolve. However, things still caught up with me and I resorted to emotional eating, skipping workouts, and slacking on other healthy habits I've been developing. It was no surprise to me when my weight shot back up on the scale. I admit I've felt some defeat, but I refuse to give up. I know that I need to get back to demonstrating my commitment everyday and not just allow myself to keep stumbling along off track. Just because I screwed up in several ways for more than several days, it doesn't mean that is the new norm. Time to get back to living my new healthy lifestyle!
