Final days of 2015
Monday, December 28, 2015
In the past month, I went off track but refused to give up. As a result, even though my weight steadily climbed for a while, it was not as bad as if I had just quit. I also managed to reverse the upward trend and get back down to where I was a few weeks ago. So, it's now pretty much a long shot that I will meet my Pre-New Year's Goal of getting below 300 pounds by the 1st day of 2016. However, it's not completely impossible. Instead of taking the attitude of "oh well, I didn't make it... might as well pig out," I am going to keep trying to meet the goal and see just how close I can get. Either way, I will start out the new year with healthy habits and a strong commitment. Even if I don't make the goal by the 1st, I'll be close and will get there soon!
In support of this goal, I am committing to completing 5 miles per day until New Years Day. I am also starting back up with my 100 abs reps per day streak. (My first streak was 25 days followed by 4 days off before starting this next streak.)
WHO IS WITH ME??? WHAT DO YOU WANT TO ACCOMPLISH IN THE FINAL DAYS OF 2015?
Posting my goals and intentions is such an accomplishment in and of itself for me. In the past, I would keep my goals to myself because that way if I didn't make them, no one even knew I was trying. Now I've battled that self-defeating approach. Instead, I'm learning to blab about my goals & approach because it makes me much more likely to remain accountable to myself, my progress, and the end results.
