Are You Kidding Me

Those were my words this morning as I got on the scale to weigh. I was actually excited to see what progress I made during the week! I never missed a day of walking that extra mile (or more) even though the temperatures were at freezing or below. I watched what I ate, working to keep my calorie intake above 1000 or more of my calorie burn. I started eating a good breakfast in an effort to get my metabolism going faster during the day. I eliminated pop from my daily menu.

And The results -- NOTHING emoticon . I didn't lose a pound, but I also didn't gain anything. I know, I know - it's only been a week and there is always that muscle building aspect, but dang I'm a results kind of girl!!

So, I'm headed out to walk my mile today and ask for patience and understanding. I'm ignoring the cookies that have been baked and smell oh so good. I'm not going to let this disappointment derail me. And next week - we'll see if I can't say "are you kidding me" for another reason!
