First day with personal trainer

Today was my first day back at the gym with my personal trainer. I've been working with him on and off for about nine years now, but it's been a while. Thankfully, he took it a little easy on me today, saying "I don't want to make you so sore that you can't work out again for a week!" I appreciate that LOL.
The exercises weren't too tough, definitely not the same as what I did way back when I was training pretty consistently. These poor muscles have forgotten what they used to be able to do, so we have to build back up to that point. Logically I know this, but it's a little sad to really see where I'm at vs. where I used to be. That's just more motivation to stick with it and work hard, right? :)
I also spent 24 minutes on the treadmill doing a nice easy jog to warm up, get the blood flowing and the muscles woken up. I get so BORED on the treadmill at the gym. The TVs never play anything good, and they're so far away I can't hardly see anything. I need a treadmill at home in front of our TV, so I can play my favorite show or movie. I bet I could run forever if I got lost in a good action film LOL.
So, this is the start of a good thing. Tomorrow is a run day (hopefully I'll be able to move enough to run LOL), Saturday is my day off, then Sunday I'll be back at the weights.
