It's back. Stupid cold. Hit me full force yesterday and youngest DD is catching it, so we did not go to CC. I feel a little bad for that, but I'm sure I could not have sat through all of those classes. I spent most of the day in bed, bundled up against the cold. My sinus feels like it is going to implode. Had to cancel my sleep study because how am I supposed to 'sleep normally' with a head cold!
Insurance is being awful this year, so far. They have denied almost everything. They denied my sleep study at first, and I have to do a home sleep study because of it. I'm cool with that, though. They refused to pay a large chunk from my echo, so it is going to end up costing almost a grand. What is up with that? They were so good last year. 'Course, I didn't have all these big things going on last year, either.
Results from echo are in! Yay! I could not understand half of what the NP's student said when I talked to her on the phone. She has this lovely accent, I don't know where from, somewhere outside the USA, for sure. But over the phone it was nearly impossible to understand. I got that there was 'nothing significant' so that is one thing I can scratch off of my worry list. I'd like to know more details, but that can wait till I see the NP again. We still don't know why my heart is beating so fast, but at least we know it is not from a leaky valve (my father had to have 2 valves replaced, at least, I don't remember what the other two open-heart surgeries were for... Hence the concern about my heart)
I want to work out today so badly... but my whole body aches and my head, oh my poor head.. I need to get rid of this cold! Taking Dayquil/Nyquil and extra vitamin C and Juice Plus. Hoping to knock this out before I have oral surgery next Thursday. I don't think I can have the surgery if I have a head cold. And this tooth needs to come out! It only hurts if I chew something on that side and it hits it. And that is the side I chew on the most, and sometimes I forget not to.
Going to be playing one of my favorite video games while I'm sick, should help pass the time and a new 'season' just started so all kind of new fun stuff to do. It's a computer game, so I can't curl up on the couch to play it, but should still be relaxing and fun.
