I'm feeling so much better! I still have some congestion, but nowhere near as much as it was and I'm not as tired/exhausted as I was. I should be able to make it through today with no nap
Back to my Jillian Michaels workout! The interval training really kicks my tail, but I'm positive that if I keep with it, and my cardio afterwards, I will lose the weight. Just gotta get my diet under control!
Speaking of diet, I'm so ready for my diabetic counseling! I'm reading a lot of different information on how many carbs I should get in a day. It's very confusing. And it makes a huge difference in how I eat!
I'm going to make my very first veggie chili. This is where I would normally go to DH and get him to 'help' and then he would take over and it would end up being very tasty, but not good for you. So, I'm going to make it myself, and stick to the recipe. I used to cook a lot, but when DH started cooking and getting really good at it, I stopped. I don't cook like he does, and he's very picky about what he eats, so I just stopped cooking. That is going to have to change if I want to eat more healthy. I love things like cabbage stew. He hates the smell and doesn't want it in the house. I'm going to have to just get over the fact that he doesn't like it; he doesn't have to eat it! In most things he's very supportive, don't let this little thing fool you. He's just super picky about food.
I'm freezing. I dislike this house in the winter. It's high ceiling makes it impossible to keep it warm. I know, bundle up. I do. But early mornings like this, when my fingers are frozen and I'm in workout clothes, so I can't bundle up, Brrrrr. Last night I had on my cardigan and a sweater. My feet felt like blocks of ice and I just could not get warm. Thank goodness all the bedrooms stay warm, it's just the living room, kitchen and dining room that stay cold. I grew up with a wood stove for heat, so I'm used to cold, my room stayed cold all the time in the winter. But I had a heat source to go warm up by. Sometimes I'd take my blanket and go sleep by the wood stove. I miss having that heat source to warm up by. Makes me feel more cold than I am.
