Starting Again in 2016

Although I met my weight goal in June of 2015, I apparently didn't learn how to eat when I am not trying to lose weight. My blood pressure is up again and my cholesterol is also high. I am trying to handle both these conditions without medication. So, I am once again really monitoring what I eat. I have reset my marker and I am tracking my food. Although I have bad knees, I have managed to enter a few races without hurting myself. I feel it is necessary for me to keep entering races to stay positive. I like the energy I get from the "racing crowd" and it keeps me motivated. I set my goal to lose 16 pounds and that will bring my numbers back to where they should be. I am excited and believe that I can make myself healthy again.
