Happy February All!
I just did my weight and measurements. Thankfully, I remembered to take note of these at the beginning of the year so I could track my progress. The biggest changes I've made in January are working hard to make better food choices and going to the gym consistently to do strength training. I'll be honest with you, I'm not sure the latter would have happened if I didn't have a free gym at work to use during my lunch hour. It's a rather new development and I'm REALLY enjoying it. I'm staying strong with my cardio... it helps that I'm training for a half marathon that is at the end of this month. However, I will say, cardio has never really been a struggle for me. I love it, strength training on the other hand, has always been a struggle.
The plan for February is to basically continue what I'm doing. Weekends are more difficult for making healthy choices with food since that's when I do my long runs. I get home and I'm tired and hungry. Although, it's not as bad as it was last time I trained. This time I'm making sure to eat BEFORE my run so that I'm not starving when I finish. It's helped quite a bit.
Weight loss: 2.6 lbs
Inches loss: 7!!! SEVEN inches.
