The recent changes I have been making in my life, tracking my food and exercising, has boosted my confidence. Even though I am only on week two and have only lost two pounds my first week, I feel positive. I suffer from depression which causes me to have very negative thoughts about myself and my life despite the fact that I have a fairly good life.
I was at my husbands doctors the other day and he had a sign in his office that said "food is the most overused antidepressant and exercise is the most underused antidepressant".
Long story short I was feeling kind of pretty for the first time in a long time so I took a selfie!
I hope you all are feeling optimistic as well, we will have our good days and our bad days but if we stay focused and get back on track if we fall short of our expectations of ourselves, we will inevitably make progress!!!
