stayed the same [BLC30 Week 7]

Down 0lb, alcohol units 15.1, water 7, calorie range days 4, fitness 6, participation 7, me 2, gratitude 0.

This week I have been busy at work and not sleeping very well. Some would call it routine, but I call it a rut - eat, sleep, work, cycle, repeat.

I reported zero gratitude this week. However, today I did stop to watch the black swans on the edge of the river where I work. I indicated this as a gratitude score last week. I am starting to carry my camera, but haven't had the opportunity to take any photographs as yet.

This last week, and especially today was horrible as far as riding my bike is concerned. So many vehicles have been passing within centimetres of my handlebars. This morning it was a huge rubbish truck which then turned left in front of me, and this afternoon coming home was a 4WD with a trailer. Even on the shared path, cyclists have been passing me between oncoming cyclists.

At the moment, I can't get to work any other way - only on my bicycle. I could go on a shared path along the esplanade, but this is made up of concrete slabs and the continual bumps doesn't make for comfortable riding. But between this and the vehicles passing close, perhaps I'm better hardening up the ol' bottom.

I'm not feeling my usual 200% at the moment. But perhaps I've just got to "Just Keep Going".
