This morning I hopped on the scale and discovered I gained three pounds. I know you are probably thinking, three pounds? Big deal! I was discouraged when I hopped on and seen that weight gain because I was in a team accountability challenge in which we had to weigh in every week and report our week. As a result, I had lost six pounds in seven weeks by watching what I was eating up and increasing my activity. After that challenge ended, I just kind of let things slide and now I've gained back half of what I lost in January and the first part of March. Well, now that I decided to face the scale again and have an idea of what happened, I am going to do something about it starting today.
Today I will be making sure to get my water in, and will be aware of what I am putting into my mouth. I know what I have to do, I just have to do it. I've also kind of let my exercise slide a bit. Once my Fitbit hits 10,000 steps, I figured that I didn't have to do any exercise for that day after all since I already hit my goal. This will be changing starting today.
