Never to old to learn

Monday, May 09, 2016

I have made it 3 weeks. I can honestly say, any out of line eating choices I did the past few weeks were made up during the daily count. I am giving myself a pat on the back for my consistency. I have lost 9 lbs which shows me what i'm doing is working. I know there will be weeks ahead with little or no progress, but our bodies need to adjust to all the changes and eventually will make us proud. My Dr. convinced me to go to a diabetic class, which my first day is tomorrow, (2 day class). I am learning alot with reading my spark people materials, but I am hoping these classes will help me understand how to deal with my issues. I never thought at my age, I would want to go back to school. OMGosh. emoticon

I am so proud of you. I have been trying to get to a class for over a year. Finally settled for learning on line. Keep up the good work.

You're doing awesome with your login and exercise streaks! Sounds like your new classes may give you some nutritional guidance that will also help you be more effective!

I've been to several diabetic classes, both in person and online. Great information and keep all the recipes!

A diabetic class should be very helpful. Prepare some questions you want to ask the lecturer
