Week #12 (of 13) of the "I don't want to have Weight Loss Surgery Challenge".
So it's coming down to the wire. Weeks 10 & 11 were hard weeks with small weight loss numbers, and I was starting to get worried that I wasn't going to make my goal. After doing some number crunching, I realized that I had increased my calories burned via exercise by quite a bit, while actually lowering my average calories consumed. So I ate like crazy this week. (That's what it felt like anyway.) The only bad thing about this, was that I had a really hard time eating HEALTHY foods that were high in calories (my fat consumption is ALREADY high), so I don't feel like I made the best choices.
I also decreased my exercise minutes, because my body was understandably run down. The results:
Down: 3.4 Pounds
Total Challenge Weight loss: 39 (only 1 pound to go!)
Total weight loss: 51.6 (Yea! Hit the 50 pound mark again!)
This week my goal is to think of a new challenge so that I don't lose my momentum after my Dr's appointment next week.
