Now 47 pounds lost...How I am doing it

Whhooo hoooooo! another 10 pound lost. Now I am at 47 pounds lost.
Lots of folks are asking me about how I am losing so quickly. Well, nothing special. I know it is normal for someone as big as I am to lose weight fast in the beginning. The more you weigh, the bigger the losses in the beginning. I'm sure that over time the losses will become smaller. For now though I am enjoying these large losses.
As for what I am doing every day ... well, I stay at 1200 cals every day. I exercise almost every day for 15 minutes (I will gradually increase the time I work out as my body becomes more able to work out.) I do chair aerobics for my workout. I also have cut way down on my diet soda pop...now I drink mostly water but I do still enjoy a diet soda at least once a day.
I have finally realized there is no magic bullet, no perfect diet, no single exercise that will make this weight come off. And believe me, I have tried it all over the years. I have learned that any diet or plan that has specific restrictions will not last forever. I was a huge fan of low carb...after all I lost 98 pounds on low carb. But I learned that you have to stay low carb to maintain it. I just couldn't go the rest of my life without real bread, that's why I gained all my weight back when I started eating normal foods again.
I've finally learned what "they" have been telling us for years...eat a healthy diet and exercise, reduce the amount of diet soda and drink more water. The way I look at it now is that there is no food that is off limits, just the volume of any particular item.
My mobility is getting better by the day now. I can walk a lot better. I can make it all the way to the truck without stopping to rest in my wheel chair. I can also bend down to pick up something off of the floor. AND....I have went down a size
