Day 507/ Day 34 of 100

emoticon I actually got out my kitchen scale and cut up my chicken, measured it out and put it into individual baggies. 3 oz is more than I thought it was. I have three plastic 'bento boxes' that I went ahead and filled with chicken (3 oz) and brown rice (1/2 a cup), broccoli and green beans. I will fill then as soon as they are cleaned again. I bought some stuff for salads and watermelon for a sweet treat. I'm set for the week I think. I even got french green beans for dipping in hummus. Honey crisp apples for another sweet treat. I think I'm set for food, now to get rid of all the junk food the kids brought into the house!

emoticon I tried running again yesterday since Mon, Wed., Fri., are my run days... bad idea! My poor calves cramped up so bad! I finally decided that since I ran on Sunday, half a day on Monday would be good! Today I'm so stiff! I did not stretch as much as I should have again yesterday. I need to remember that it is just as important as the actual cardio is! I have to start dedicating time to my workouts, not just getting them in whenever, or I'll never get as much of a workout in as I want to. I think getting up at 5 is a great idea. But instead of sitting down with a cup of coffee first thing, I'll have some water and get on the treadmill. Alternate strength training in between miles. That gives me two hours before the kids and DH wake up. I can relax and have my coffee after I work out. SP can wait till I've worked out. So early mornings it is, unless I make specific plans otherwise. Like Saturday's are my 'sleep in' days (meaning I sleep till about 7) so I'll still work out in the morning, just a little later.

emoticon Today I'm heading to church to send the kids off to church camp! I'm so nervous for my youngest, it is her first time! She's such a wallflower, I hope she actually gets into camp and does all of the fun stuff. Her sister has been talking up the camp as though it were the best thing ever, so I hope that she really does have fun and does not miss us too much. I'm as nervous as can be! The hard part will be coming home without them!!

Camp is a wonderful thing! My daughter went about half the summer. Both Girl Guides and church camp. Keeps them busy in a good way. So important when they get older! Enjoy your week of quiet and relaxing.

emoticon Good job Momma. You will get through it, and I am sure your DD will have a good time once she gets to camp. Worst case scenario- you can always pick her up. In the meantime you can do a few things that you can't do when the kids are home. Long luxurious bath! Clear the junk food out of the house, enjoy some one on one with DH.

I keep reading that you do your stretching after exercise. I don't know that I am fully on board with that. I need to stretch so I don't get cramps. Look up Curvy Yoga on Youtube and see if that is something you can see yourself doing. I personally love it!

    Have a great day!
