Seeking a fun, new SPARK!

Wednesday, June 15, 2016

I posted this blog entry last fall, and it stands true today. I'm still trying to find that motivational pull that keeps me in check. I'm trying to connect with my WHY and get myself in gear. I'm not sure why my readiness seems so hard to grasp onto, but it's frustrating. I want to be better - more consistent, everything. And I have the tools and the knowledge. So what is it about ME that's getting in the way? I'm not sure, but I'm committed to figuring this out.

And now for some humor:

I'm looking for a spark that's consistent, reliable, and loyal. It would be great if this spark was into outdoor activities, working out a few times a week, and having lots of fun. I love making new friends, and I'd like it if my new spark and I could do this together.

Eating healthy is becoming increasingly more important to me, so I'd like to find a spark that is interested in learning new recipes, and cooking together.

I'd like a spark that challenges me, but also nurtures me. If you're a spark that is mean-spirited or puts me down.. well I don't have time for you. But if you're a spark that finds the best in people, understands growth mindset, and helps me stay on track with hugs and kisses - then we might be a great fit.

I need a spark that understands my depression and is patient with me, knowing that I sometimes need a day or a week off because it's too hard to feel like a failure day after day. I'm trying the best I can, and I need my spark to be supportive of the down times too, and not give up on me or think badly of me. I have enough guilt on my own, I need my spark to say "TODAY IS A NEW DAY!" and really mean it.

If you are this spark, I would like to meet you. Desperately.
