I had family in for Memorial Day Weekend, actually for an entire week. Trying to make food for a vegetarian, gluten free, and carnivores became overwhelming by the end of the visit...so I quit taking time to log calories...and eat right. Here it is, a month later, and I am just getting back to tracking and eating close to right...and 4th of July and vacation are right around the corner. How do I stay focused and on track while enjoying my summer and visiting others who are not changing their life styles? I've got to do something that will help me stick to tracking and being on Spark People, even if I am busy. I have got to take care of my health, because no one else can do it for me.
So, back to my first set of goals...eat 5 fruits/veggies a day, walk at least 6,000 steps daily, do yoga a couple times a week to keep flexibility and track, track, track...NO MATTER WHAT!
Anyone have any stay on track during vacations and company advice? I'd love to hear how you stay the course.
