What Day Is It?

Tuesday, July 12, 2016

Last week was absolutely crazy busy! Wednesday my sister had pre-op. So instead of driving back Thursday, I spent the night for Thursday morning surgery. My mom and I were up at 2am (I was only able to sleep a good 2 hours), then out the door by 4:15 to drive over an hour to get to the hospital by check in time, 6am. Gabs got admitted by 7 and was rolled back by 730. Surgery went well and we were all back home by noon. I waited a few hours before driving home to crash before 9 lol The next day I went back to take them to the post op appt. Unlike mine, hers is longer and not as deep (4cm compared to the 7cm), so hopefully it'll heal faster. On my way home, I was at a red light and someone hit me from behind, but drove off before I could find a place to pull over, so when I got home I was totally freaked out. Thankfully the hubby took over and we went to eat cause I hadn't eaten anything yet and it was almost 3pm. Saturday we had friends over and was out in 100 degree heat playing pokemon go. Talk about good exercise! But I've been paying for it with a migraine that finally broke last night. Today has been housework, and then tomorrow I'll be back over to take gabs to her next post op appt. They had to deal with their ac breaking and luckily mom has a friend who is trying to fix it. They stayed with them but now have window units until he can fix it properly. As for my "healthy" lifestyle.... eh... I haven't been able to actually cook and when I do I'm too tired to actually plan anything. I'm still trying to follow my calorie count, but even that has been tricky, especially with not eating when I'm supposed to... it upsets me yes, but I'm hoping that it'll balance out soon enough. I have to go to my obgyn next month. He's the one that inspired me to start this, so I'm hoping he'll be happy to see my progress so far of 20 pounds lost. I definitely feel it! My knee doesn't hurt anymore, I don't get winded as easily; I can walk further distances, and I've been more positive on my body image, wearing things i havwnt worn in years like dresses and shorts. So yeah! Stay hydrated out there and go team Mystic XD
