Really struggling - Dealing with Divorce

Sunday, August 07, 2016

Well it has been a long time since I have blogged... I have recently started logging back into Sparkpeople. I have had my world crash this year.. my 25 year marriage has fallen apart... and I am trying to pick up the pieces of my life. I am looking for something stable again... so thought I would try Sparkpeople again for support and inspiration. I am just now in the heat of the divorce and the legal crap is getting the best of me... my only comfort seems to be food and a mangorita before bed. Also to top it all off, my youngest daughter is moving out in a week (3 hours away) and I will have an empty nest.... somedays I wonder what more I can handle. One day at a time is all I can do. So I am hoping to start blogging again, just to vent to myself! I will survive this, just trying to figure it all out. I am going to make a plan and start just focusing on me... going to schedule myself some gym time, yoga time and for the first time in my life I guess I can focus on myself.

9 years ago, my life imploded too. My marriage of 13 years ended & my house went into foreclosure. It was a very scary time. Forget taking it a day at a time, I was crawling through an hour at a time. You are right to focus on you. ☺
