Day 21 Whole 30

Yeah, I don't know how well I'm actually doing with this diet. Yesterday morning I got sick--really sick. Friday night it was raining, so instead of grilling we made breakfast skillets: potato, green and yellow pepper, leeks, beef chorizo, and eggs. Slice of melon on the side. Saturday morning got me up at 5:30, so unwell that I didn't know which end to put on the pot first. I threw my back out from heaving so hard. I don't know what caused it. I was okay by about 9:30 later that morning, but I was sore and shaky and dizzy all day. All I ate yesterday was half a banana, a Lara bar, and half a chopped salad from Subway.
So I'm pretty sure I lost some weight yesterday, but I wouldn't recommend that method
Today my stomach appears to be doing okay, although my lower back still hurts so bad that I'm kind of bent off to the side (I bet that 8 hour meeting tomorrow will be tons of fun). I had some apple slices with almond butter and a cup of black coffee. I don't know what made me sick. The Dude ate everything that I ate, and he was fine. I think if I had a virus I would have been sick all day long, and I wasn't. Maybe my body has just decided that it doesn't want any more eggs. But I do have IBS-C, and my digestive system has been so off through this whole journey. The book says that this could happen as the intestinal lining heals itself, but it sure doesn't feel like anything's healing. The school year is about to start, and I don't have the time for, you know, random barfing and stuff. I'm not pleased with that at all. I was on a 30 year streak. Take that, Seinfeld! Oh, well. 9 more days to go. And seriously, all I wanted yesterday was a piece of dry toast. No toast on this diet.
The dude and I are going to spend today food shopping and prepping meals for work lunches.
