Exercise Plan.. and feet

I just started a challenge recently with one of my teams to make and STICK to a work out plan. Unfortunately due to some issues in my foot, I'm sidelined for a good week or so. I was really struggling with what to do during this time, especially after I woke up Friday barely able to walk. At some point, a light bulb went off and I realized that I could/should certainly be doing my exercises I learned from various PT's for my feet! Get my legs in shape to get in shape if you will! haha So, twice day I'm using my foam roller on my legs and the lacrosse ball on my feet followed by icing. I'm really awful about doing this, so I'm hoping to keep up the habit.
I have three training runs for next week, but I will probably skip the first one, maybe even the second. I really want to give my feet a chance to "un-immflame". Maybe I'll just walk the run on Thursday and see how that goes.
MOVING FORWARD... I will do training runs on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday's. I signed up to do Yoga at my church once a week and then I'll do some ST during my lunch hour at work 2x a week. I think that's plenty! I'll also start taking my foam roller and ice supplies so I can do that before I drive home on Saturday's when my training run is further away from mi casa.
On a side note, I also went to the Good Feet store today. It was WAY more expensive that I thought it would be, but it's my feet and I have high hopes for good healthy feet. Then maybe I can go full crazy and do a full marathon!
