Day 27 Whole 30

Hitting the home stretch. Yesterday I sat through a staff meeting with my salad and raw veggies while everyone around me ate Aurelio's pizza and made ice cream sundaes. And last night I dreamed that it was day 30 and I got on the scale to find that I had gained 20 pounds.

I'm getting very tired of salad and tired of eggs. The Dude and I have been talking about the reintroduction period, and what we are going to start with. We're going to try to reintroduce grains first, like maybe rice or oats.We're going to have some menu planning time tomorrow so the transition goes smoothly.

Right now I'm struggling with a whole bunch of things. The digestive issues are still going strong (I'm thinking of trying fiber supplements). I've got the back pain thing and the plantar faciitis thing, and my elbows and knees are very bruised from a training at work (we have some students who could be in danger of hurting themselves or others, so we utilize physical management. The only way to know we are doing things safely is to practice on each other). I've also developed several canker sores in my mouth. So I'm a little banged up right now. Really missing the exercise. I can't wait to feel better.

    Good luck to you in getting your health problems under control. I know for myself it is a struggle when my back hurts, etc. I admire your strength in eating your healthy snacks while everyone else is eating pizza and ice cream sundaes. I am afraid I would have stumbled on that one.

    You can do this....sit down and do your planning and follow through on your plans.
