ST & 4 miles done!

This weekend I went for my first official training run after being out for a few weeks resting an injury. It was 4 miles of intervals. I had done the same intervals on Thursday for 2.3 miles and I felt great on Saturday until about 2.5 miles and then I was TIRED! haha No aches or pains, but I could definitely tell I had taken a few weeks off! The good thing about an out and back run though is you HAVE to finish. So, 4 miles done and then I had all my provisions and rolled my foot on my lacrose ball and iced it at my car before driving home. I was pretty exhausted the rest of the day and didn't do much.
Sunday I went grocery shopping and then went dress shopping. I've decided to wear dresses more often for a few reasons. 1. Generally they're less frumpy looking and 2. since I'll be working out during my lunch hour, dresses just seem easier to slip on than a shirt and pants. I also needed a dress for my cousins wedding next month. I bought 4 dresses and then came home and went thru my closet and found more dresses that I can wear. I'll be able to add a few more once I've lost 10-15 lbs.
Today I wore a dress, brought my lunch & breakfast to work, and did strength training during lunch. I haven't done any ST in quite awhile, so I tried to keep it light today, but I'm thinking I'll still be sore. Hopefully, not too sore to wash my hair. LOL However, I have gotten a few compliments on my outfit.
