Newly found motivation

As I walked away from a conversation with one of my best friends this morning, I realized I had just stumbled onto new and different kind of motivation.
I've been doing Low Carb for several years and have seen some awesome results...when I stick with it. My resolve to "stick with it" comes and goes in waves, and therefore, I am now dealing with regain and I feel "stuck". A self inflicted plateau if you will.
Anyway, I have one great friend in particular that kinda... scrunches her nose at a high fat diet. haha She doesn't say anything, but her facial expressions when I mention "high fat" tells me everything. haha It hit me as I was walking away from her this morning that I'm certainly not doing anything to change her mind. My weight certainly does not reflect someone who is sticking to a healthy eating lifestyle.
So... my new motivation is convincing my friend that Low Carb, High Fat DOES work. I can be a little bit stubborn when someone tells me I can't do something, so I'm going to us that stubborness to prove others wrong. haha
I know some of you might be saying I need to do this for me, and I totally get that and agree. But... sometimes we just have to grab some stubborn motivation and get at it! I'll take it when I get it!
