Monday matters...

Monday, November 14, 2016

Monday used to matter in so many ways.

It's the day I used to start all my diets. It's the day I had to go back to work after a busy weekend (loving these retirement years!!). It was the first day home after a vacation and besides going back to work, we needed to get all the work done that we'd missed by being away. I'm sure you have your own list of things you've dealt with on a Monday.

Now Monday matters to me in a different way. For one thing, I no longer start diets on Monday or any other day. Instead I work at my lifestyle changes, regardless of whether it's a Monday or not. No more diets for me! Granted, some of my "lifestyle choices" aren't exactly note-worthy, but they're never far from my mind.

Monday matters because it's a day to find another healthy behavior or two that I can implement and make a part of my improved lifestyle.

Monday matters because I can reaffirm that I'm not giving up on this journey!

Monday matters because I'm alive!! Every day that I wake up and can get up, and I can still see, hear and talk is a great day. It's a day to celebrate!!

Monday matters...just because!!

Love your positive attitude about Monday's and life in general.

I remember when my mom was alive and she would say: "I'm going to start my diet on Monday!"
She never needed to loose any weight like her daughter!!! lol

    Everyday matters!!!

And I'm loving retirement too! Don't have to work on my lesson plans Sunday to be ready for Monday!!!

Mondays MATTER INDEED !! For me though it's a day to study for the Kingdom Hall meeting on Tues. It can easily take me 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hr to do this,,, ,so lately it's stressing me because I am currently also seeing 1 or 2 Drs to do with the STUPID FOOT on Mondays. HOWEVER that's FINALLy going to change. I am so HAPPY Jeannie to say it's ALMOST TOTALLY healed ! FINALLY !! i have only a tiny bit of the scar from the toe being removed,, so now I CAN HEAL !! YEAH !!! it should be totally healed in 2 weeks than I will NOT have to do more than nail care. PHEW !!

I LOVE how you are onboard with "its NOT a diet, it's a LIFESTYLE I'm living now. WOOHOOO YOU GO GIRL !!!

You are progressing quite well my friend. emoticon

    Hugs friend

I like Mondays a lot more now that I am retired- LOL But in my mind, it is the beginning of a new week, and I set my intentions to stay on my healthy journey.

Monday is the beginning of a new week, and a new chance to make a difference in my health. I also don't think of a diet, now it is just to stay healthy.

I know what you mean about Mondays being the day to start anew.
I look upon Mondays as a new week. A week to get something done.
    Usually I relax on weekends.
    Retirement is a good thing.
As much as I feel energetic, I'm happy to not have to go to a job.
Whether I work on a craft or watch TV, I can do whatever.
Today got off to early start , pork roast in at 5Am, will cook long and slow for6 to 8 hrs.
Have to do hair, going out tonight.
Have Christmas ornaments to finish for weekend craft show.
What I get done is anyone's guess.
Like you happy to be here.
Have a great day and week.
    Spark on.
