Day 2 in Ketosis

I had to start the counter over. I fell off the carb wagon hard (did you hear the thump) on Christmas and it took me a couple days to get back into ketosis. It is what it is, but now that I'm back in ketosis, I feel great again and plan to push through the new year like a juggernaut. I even did an IF (intermittent fast) the last two days where I didn't eat for 14 hours for both days (much easier than it sounds as I slept for 8 or so of those hours.. Also, I learned something about the ketostix I've been living and dying by since starting this process. The ketostix only measure the level of the ketone Acetone. There are three other ketones, so once you get better at making ketones, and no longer make Acetone (the inferior of the three ketones), the ketostix will no longer become a good measure of your ketosis. Additionally, after your body becomes more adept at ketosis, it produces less ketones in general. All good information to have and I am focusing more on the way being in ketosis feels rather than what color the ketostick turns when I pee on it.
I will post more after the new year, but I wish all of you an uneventful, or eventful if that's your thing, NYE. Here's hoping 2017 isn't the start of the apocalypse as predicted by the presidential election. : O
