2017 Word of the Year

I prayed and God answered. You may have heard people choose a word of the year. Something you want to define your year. I've been thinking about mine, and a few words came to mind, but when I prayed about it, I got my answer and it was perfect... of course.

Pursue.



I need to pursue my life, not just let it happen. I want certain things to happen or to progress and for that I need to pursue those things. I have just stood by waiting for things to happen for me. I've been very lucky I suppose in that sense, for the better part of my life, but I think it's made me lazy. meh... I know it has. But 2017 will be different.

I want a better marriage.. I need to chase my husband. (literally and figuratively!)
I want to lose weight.. I need to live a healthier lifestyle.
I want a new job.. I need to work on my resume & network.
I want a beautiful home.. I need to spend more time taking care of it.


I want a more fulfilling spiritual life... I need to pursue God.

I need to "hunt, go after, chase" my goals.

Anyone else have a word of the year?
