Starting again - setting goals.

I slept terribly because my DH is out of town on a work trip. At 12:30, I woke up and was inspired to write down my goals. Not only that but I wrote down rewards for myself as well. I know if I can get through the first month, then I can easily stick with the plan. I just always have trouble getting started.
With that in mind, I decided that most of my goals should not be about my weight but they are things that will directly impact my health.
So here are my goals for this year:
1. Drink 8-10 glasses of water per day
2. Cut out refined sugar from my diet
3. Start planning/tracking healthy eating
4. Start taking a daily multi vitamin
5. Go to the gym 3-6 times per week, every week!
6. Lose 30 pounds
I have set my first reward, as well. I decided that if I can do at least one of these things regularly for at least two weeks, I will get a pedicure.
If I am able to do at least two of them for at least three weeks, I am going shopping for a new blender.
And if I can do at least 4 of them for a month, I will reward myself with a new outfit.
After I meet all six goals, I am treating myself to a girls trip.
So here's to starting again!
