Cochlear Implant Surgery

Saturday, January 21, 2017

Wednesday I had cochlear implant surgery on my left ear which was a success this time (I crashed during surgery in December). While this makes me take a step back from starting my full weight loss and healthy regimen - I am still going to try. I figure I can use this time to plan some meals and some exercise routines for when I start (mainly walking on the treadmill until I get back to normal). I am limited in movement and in what I can lift and do for the next two weeks.

Will be going to the store to pick up some healthy snacks like fruits and veggies. Since I am not eating 100% I might try some replacement shakes for now just to get through this process without turning to Burger King cheeseburgers as something that is easy to get down.

Looking forward to starting this journey

When I had surgery in August, my surgeon recommended protein shakes to get the required 60 g of protein per day.
