Valentine's Day is such a commercialized holiday...as most have become these days. It's all about selling stuff that people really don't need to hopefully, make them feel special. My hubby bought chocolate covered strawberries for me because he knows that I love them. The funny thing is that he got them at our very small hardware store...of all places! You see, he doesn't like going to the store. In fact, he states he would rather take a beating than to deal with people at the store. He has so many great qualities and I understand why he hates going to the store, so I do all of the shopping and it's really OK. He deals with so many people at his job and most are not the most pleasant or the smartest in the world. His dream is to retire and do yard work for the rest of his life. And also restore a couple of old cars that he has. He really doesn't ask for much..pretty simple. I made him a homemade card this year. The was our 32nd Valentine's Day together...WOW!! Hard to believe that it's been that long. Time does fly the older you get.
Hope that you all had a fabulous Valentine's Day that filled your heart with content!
