I'm in, are you?

Wednesday, March 01, 2017

I'm all in. I really, REALLY need to do this. At least I'm going to try! I read this challenge on a new blog post, I must do it. I endure Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, & Hashimoto, just to name a few of my ailments. So, this will be difficult for me to accomplish. Will someone PLEASE support me in my efforts? Check in with me, to follow my progress. I would appreciate it very much. WISH ME LUCK !!

Back in 2013, I was forced to renovate/remodel my kitchen due to major water damage and took advantage of the situation by decluttering my kitchen. Since then I've gone through the rest of my home doing the same, but with decades of accumulating 'stuff', still needed another major 'sweep'. This year I started that second sweep and now it really shows. I even notice dh doing things to keep the clutter down, but I don't say anything or he might stop...lol

The most difficult was 'letting go' of clothing I hoped to fit back into (after 20+ years finally got the hint..lol), beautiful items that were given but never had use for, and handed down items with sentimental value but only collect dust (blessed I was able to keep those in the family by passing it to down to the younger generation). I'm still in the midst of decluttering (seems there's always something), but it's been quite therapeutic.

By focusing on one small part of your home and doing what you can, you'll eventually see and feel the difference. You're always welcomed to stop by and let me know how you're coming along. Best wishes.

    Hi Brenda -
There is a hoarder's team here, or are you aware of it already?

I still have ongoing projects like this to finish!
