We got to SIL by 4 PM. yesterday. We sat around & talked awhile, then had a spaghetti dinner (without the meatballs) It was very good. Sat & talked some more, then she showed me how to crochet. I want to wire crochet jewelry, figured I better learn to crochet with yarn first. All I'm going to say is I need to practice alot with the yarn first ! LOL
It was snowing so hard last night, It looked like a blizzard out there. I was worried about going to the Clinic this AM, but we ended up only getting about 1" snow, and by the time we left SIL to go to the Clinic, roads were all clear. DH just had to clean the ice & snow off our car.
He had blood work done & we saw our 2 nurses. Now the immunotherapy treatments are going to be done at the Hill Crest Hospital, which is part of the Clinic, but about 10 miles closer to us, & only 3 miles from SIL home. I guess will still be staying with them like we have been, go up the day before his treatment. This is the hospital my surgeon that did my hysterectomy for my cancer is at. The traffic will be so much easier then going down to the main campus ! We'll be going up every 2 weeks. If it gets too much we can ask to have this treatments here at a local hospital, but would have to get an oncologist here too. Then just go to Clinic every 12 weeks for blood work & CT scan & see his Oncologist & nurse. So we'll see The Clinic Satellite in Solon, Ohio does not do infusions. Now were just waiting for a call from the girl that does the scheduling to call to let us know when he starts.
We got home 2 PM this afternoon. We had flurries on & off all the way, but no accumulation. It was 28 degrees & sooooo.............. windy ! Tonight it's going down to 18 degrees ! Winter is showing its ugly head one last time ( I hope !!! ) Maybe up to 2" of snow.
