2nd blog entry in as many months - am celebrating in small fashion

This is my second blog entry in less than 30 days. The one last month was the first in a very long time. I've let 15 pounds creep back on from the 50 I lost. Granted, it has taken four years to gain, but even so .....

In the last week or so, I've begun walking more earnestly again, and I tracked my food diligently today as well. Haven't tracked much lately at all. Just gotta take the time to do it. I used to regard it as one of my hobbies, rather than drudgery, and I hope to do so again. "See," I can tell myself, "it's fun!"

I was over my calorie limit today, but less than 50 points, so that's actually pretty good. I'm hungry now but am going to go to bed like this. I used to do that quite a bit. I stopped, however, thinking that it wouldn't be good for me. Well, I'm going to try it again.

So am celebrating in a small way tonight, concerning my walking, concerning my tracking and bc the scales were down just a tad this morning.

When I lost those 50 pounds, it took me three years. And that was fine. Slowly but surely. Not really a diet, but a food lifestyle change.

So now, I want to lose just 7-8 of those 15 pounds - and keep it off forever. In the meantime, I want to lose another pound by March 31 - before my chorus goes to its regional competition. I think I can do it. I think I can. I think I can ...said the little chubby woman who could.
