Finally mini plateau conquered

I did so well the first 8 or so weeks on Sparkpeople. I lost 10 lbs and I felt wonderful. I was on track to be 30 or even 40 pounds less by summer. Then, horror of horrors, I stopped losing the weight. It was frustrating to say the least - and you all have experienced the dreaded plateau.
This is what I did: I kept logging every bite and every bit of exercise. I noticed a trend - I was eating at the upper end ( and more) of my calorie range. Made a few tweaks, paid more attention to my carb/fat/protein percentages, and exercised more. Weighed in this morning at down .5 lb, but I'll take it.
I still have a long way to go - I haven't really decided what my goal weight will be. I'm just trying to drop 10 pounds at a time.
Here's a photo of one of the hiking trails from last fall.
