THE TWO POUND DANCE

I weigh everyday even though most diets tell you not to. For me, it is helpful to keep me on track and any progress is a blessing. So, during the week, I will have a day when my weight dips to a new low. I will record that weight here on Spark. Then I will experience the two pound dance where the pounds creep back up depending on what I ate or didnt do or whatever. But I keep that low weight recorded as a goal to hit it again. And usually, within the week it happens. And stays there. Then eventually, I lose another pound or two and start the dance over again. I think this is where I get frustrated and gain everything back.
When you only weigh once a week, and you hit the day when the scale is up, even though the day before you had lost weight, it gets discouraging.
And the person weighing you asks you what you ate and you get mad at them and leave the diet plan and never look back. Then you gain it all back.
Not happening this time.
