As part of my BLC group I'm supposed to blog about why I'm committed to my journey to being healthy.

I want to be strong and healthy. I feel better when I've been exercising regularly and when I'm at a healthy weight. I feel better in my head and in my body. I have more confidence when I'm taking care of myself. When I was at my heaviest I got winded going up a flight of stairs. It kind of scared me. I'm getting older and I want to minimize chances of having a heart attack or some other obesity related issue.
