In my town, for the next two weeks, it's free for all trash pick up. You can throw away as much as you like without extra charges. These are important weeks in my house since we are hoarders trying to reform. Decluttering is a big theme right now for my family so the majority of my time is dedicated to tossing as much as I can. The weekend after we do a garage sale and then make a trip to the Goodwill. Do the math folks, that's nearly a whole month out of my year that is strictly focusing on trash lol. With my regular schedule of school and dinner, chores and extra curricular activities, not to mention it's the end of the year and I have one moving up to a new school (so even extra awards banquets and parties), my schedule is packed! So this rainy morning I'm sitting down and scheduling gym time (not something I normally need to do). This used to be my favorite month, the weather's warming up, the flowers are blooming, Mother's Day, my birthday. Now it's the month where I'm busy, busy, busy. I'm a little over two weeks into my new lifestyle and this is a big hurdle to overcome. In the past I would grab dollar cheeseburgers and keep right on trucking. Now I have to stop and sit down and eat right. Luckily, I only have 15 more days for school. 15 more mornings of getting up early. 15 more afternoons of pickups. 15 MORE DAYS OF FREEDOM😮! Oh well, then it's parks and lakes and kids keeping me on my toes. I know this has become my mantra, but I'm bound and determined to make this work! If that means scheduling every minute of everyday, then that's what I have to do. I've got this! Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving forward.
